I work in the community in four main capacities: Social engagement, faith retreats, print workshops / art retreats and my job at Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre, working with adults with disabilities. I love working with other people, enabling them to be creative and to express their own ideas and feelings. Working with Katie Jones, who ran 4 lantern making workshops across Bradford, an event including projections, lightbox art, shadow puppets, lantern parade and storytelling based on the tale of Persephone.
Commissioned by Bradford Peace Museum, a project to celebrate women and their part in peacemaking. Working with 2 groups, this book was made by Creative Threads West Bowling using linocut.
